They lost 1.5 million men in 2 wars between 1914 and 1945. The vast majority of those left were weak men.

I can’t believe I used to think Boris would be the English Trump. I think they were on point along policy back a few years ago perhaps but Boris had gone full woke now it seems.

Most conservative European government officials, would be considered liberal in the US. Europe is a lost cause at this point

You also have to consider that Britain’s entire political apparatus is a notch or two to the left compared to ours. The Tories are not a 1:1 comparison to the GOP. They are probably more accurately comparable to the mythical 90’s Clinton/Third Way Democrats.
( and yes I know that Blair aka Mr. Third Way was Labour, but the Labour Party has fallen off the deep end much like the left in our country has)
