Chris Matthews likens Beto to Bush 41, pushes 2020 run because Dems 'respond to magic'

Chris Matthews told his “Hardball” audience Wednesday evening that Democrats may have their own version of former President George H.W. Bush in Beto O’Rouke if they play their cards right.
The man who famously had a “thrill” up his leg for then Illinois Sen. Barack Obama in 2008 said there is “magic” in the air in the wake of Mr. O’Rouke’s failed senatorial campaign in Texas.
“There was magic in that room like when we hosted a Hardball College Tour at West Chester University up in Pennsylvania in 2008 for Senator Obama,” he said of a recent broadcast, the media watchdog NewsBusters reported Wednesday evening.

Obama has been meeting contenders @ the foggy bottom in DC. (His office?) I think the MSM got their talking points, it's Beto.

He said the other options are all socialist that want to give everything away. He is afraid they are going to nominate a socialist. They are already trying to figure how to rig it so the stupid progs aka majority of Dems don’t go full socialism. Chris probably thinks this has to be done in disguise, not in open

A cool guy that plays in a band with an irish last name that is just as prog marxist as Obama. They think the trick will work. There are no bluedog moderates in the democrat party anymore. It is so bad that Pelosi is considered moderate

You don’t come within 3 percentage points of winning a red state like Texas as a Democrat without having clear appeal to those outside the democratic base. That’s what is scaring Republicans about him running.

Its their only path to victory. What are dems without media, celebrity, and academia support? What are they without snake oil charmers for candidates or shady election tricks and gerrymandered districts?
They are for open borders, trans issues, ME refugee programs, climate taxes, universal healthcare, and the police state. They loathe all religion but Islam. They couldn't stray further from American values if they tried.
