State Media issues a warning
That's right..... America first!
quote:
Beijing (AFP) - Donald Trump is a "diplomatic rookie" who must learn not to cross Beijing on issues like trade and Taiwan, Chinese state media said Tuesday, warning America could pay dearly for his naivety.
quote:
Trump "can make a lot of noise but that does not exempt him from the rules of the major power game," adding that he "doesn't have sufficient resources" to be provocative with China.
"Trump's China-bashing tweet is just a cover for his real intent, which is to treat China as a fat lamb and cut a piece of meat off it," it said.
"He is trying to pillage other countries for US prosperity," it warned, but instead he will unwittingly "smash the current world economic order" of which the US is the "biggest beneficiary."
That's right..... America first!

They are just mad that they don't get to treat us like their whipping boy any longer.

Where is a threat in your quotes?

Honestly, they took this much better than I thought they would. They actually give him the benefit of the doubt, in that he is a political rookie. And even from his supporters, I can't see how you can deny that they're right in this point.
They're actually being cautious here. Seriously, anytime Japan says shite about their country, as well as Taiwan, they typically totally flipped out from my experience. This is absolutely the best case scenario for how China would react to it.

I hear Trump put up a you must be this tall to trade with America sign.

You can disagree with Trump and it may or may not have been the right move, but it was no accident or oversight. It was preplanned for weeks and completely intentional.
It apparently received the desired response.

I love General's chicken. Any body ever tried it with fat lamb?

What's the game plan here?
China is either (1) going to have to pay fair wages so price of everything goes up; (2) China inflates its currency so price of everything goes up; (3) China gets slapped with tariffs so price of everything goes up.
In exchange, we might get to sell whatever we make to China at a little higher price?
What options sounds good to you?

So they can fly nuclear capable bombers around Taiwan. But a phone call! OMG that's not how major powers play the game!

Time to start back up where MacArthur stopped in the early 50s. Know what I mean? W-A-R.
