Philosophy. Makes sense. In the purely hypothetical world (where most philosophy exists), socialism is a great concept. Until it runs headlong into human nature.

So the more liberal disciplines favor socialism.

So socialism as an economic paradigm is not very favorable by disciplines related to actual economics. Makes sense.

Those aren’t lawyers. That’s criminal justice, which is one of the most liberal departments on any campus it exists. I took a couple criminal justice classes at night when I needed the hours. Classes are full of bullshite “restorative justice” and the system is racist themes.
