Pretty much laid out in the OT thread on this.
The current head of the DNC was head of some kind of “community outreach” program at that time. He supposedly helped dummy up the case to keep Obama from taking a major hit if it fell apart.
So we had a president trying to frame someone for murder that was self defense just so that they wouldn’t get blowback for declaring the deceased could have been his son.

He shot and killed an unarmed individual. People get in altercations with the police all the time, they aren’t killed. Because it’s not protocol.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it’s true.
Zimmerman is a complete a-hole but, he deserved a fair trial just like anybody else. He didn’t get it and he has certainly been vilified since his acquittal. I’ve never understood why he didn’t move somewhere far away.

Makes a lot of sense. She was a disaster once pressed and I think the state thought they had Zimmerman dead to rights in the Obama era. If he was locked up right now this wouldn’t even be a story.
