Under these 2003 guidelines, the highest
COVID-19 could be listed in the presence of an
established comorbidity would be on the lowest
used line at the bottom of Part I as an initiating factor or, more correctly, in Part II as an infection that
contributed to death.
However, on March 24, 2020 the CDC elected
to forgo this trusted method of cause of death recording in favor of recording comorbidities in Part 2, so
COVID-19 could be listed exclusively in Part 1.
This has had a significant impact on data collection accuracy and integrity. It has resulted in the
potential false inflation of COVID-19 fatality data
and is a potential breach of federal laws governing
information quality.

I'll be interested to see if they can quantify how the Covid legal liabilities affected the count. Looks like some people are looking at death codings too.

Huh. So your telling me now that the gunshot wounds were, in fact, more likely the cause of death even though they tested positive for the Rona?

Not sure how we add 300k+ Chinese virus deaths last year and still roughly hit the total deaths of 2018.

Give it to the dims, It was all hands on deck to defeat Trump. I haven't seen that sort of oneness to accomplish a goal since WWII.

I remember when The Gateway Pundit was going to have news that would "END" Biden's campaign.

I think we’re going to be 225k-250k higher than 2019. It’s not nothing. But it’s not a stop the world crisis either.

Also. I’m not aware of any proof that a difference in how we handled it would have resulted in any real difference in mortality.

Amen. If Trump handled it sooo badly and he is sooo much dumber than any other Nation Leaders, then why did they all do as bad or worse in their Covid response?

The hysteria made it impossible to even have this debate. I'm not sure how much was actually real though.

The preliminary count would come from the CDC, wouldn't it? The same organization that allegedly inflated the deaths by 1600%. I don't think citing a count of deaths (based on CDC reporting) is particularly compelling in this thread.
