In this case, and most all involving global warming, scientists change their minds based on politics and who funds them.

You're right. Better to read the full quote.

The mask is or perhaps already HAS become the left's Hijab. If you are a true believer in their "religion" you must wear it and ANY dissent is not tolerated.

On a related note, not wearing one appears to be a GREAT way to keep nervous nellies from riding the elevator with you. The ONLY time I wear those goddamn things is when I am entering a store or to enter through the magical threshold that apparently exists when you enter a restaurant. Otherwise, I go about life as usual. I can't even count anymore how many times I've been riding an elevator up/down over the last several months when the the elevator stops on another floor, only to have the terrified mask wearing people looking to jump on see me without a mask and immediately, hesitantly say "uh, uh, I'll just catch the next one." Even if I am the only person in the elevator.

Frankly, that's how it should be. I have no problem whatsoever if you want to live in fear. By all means, feel free. But I'm not going do so as well solely to make YOU feel better. If you feel it is too risky to get on an elevator with the "unmasked", then no problem and no offense taken.

Could have worn a mask instead of getting the Polio vaccine?

For my thousandth time, how does my mask keep me from getting the virus? From what is preached about masks they are used to keep me from getting my germs on the other fellow.

Masks as everyday persons are wearing them are horrible. Few are being washed or replaced daily as required. So you have an infested filter right next to your nose and mouth daily. It’s horrible.

He means the vaccines haven't finished being tested so we're not sure they work (i.e. he's more confident in the efficacy of masks than vaccine at this particular moment).

Then perhaps he should qualify his statement with "until we have a proven, effective vaccine."

Assuming the vaccine is effective, this is a flat out idiotic statement.

Isn’t the CDC pushing the flu vaccine? Why so? Everyone is wearing masks.

..... party of science folks.

In other words, it’s time to change the narrative and move the goal posts again, since Trump is once again following through

Is that what he said??

Every thing Trump says is literal. Why is this not?

Just setting up mask mandates as a permanent fixture of American life.

The former CDC director was on Fox News & said yes, people should wear a mask when out walking dog just to keep in the habit of wearing one because masks would be around for a long time

Do these people ever go out in public?
Less & less people are wearing masks

Redfield and Fauci are hoping and praying Biden wins. Both are likely to be unemployed in January when Trump is reelected.

I typed up several responses to this, and finally gave up. Anyone by now who is too stupid not to wear a mask, given the absolute most minor of inconveniences it takes to put one on vs. the potential benefit it provides to you, me, my neighbor and grandmother, cannot be convinced otherwise. I wonder if most of us were always this dumb and the internet just magnifies it, or if we're willfully becoming more stupid by the day.
