They won't listen. After years of everyone saying how the military and law enforcement are totally on the side of Trump, and recent revelations that the rioters included off duty from both, it's much easier to believe that the CIA has been training Antifa and white radicals in military operations for just such an event.

Go back to the summer, videos everywhere of organized movements, bricks dropped at locations, vans pulling up gear to destroy stuff.
Anyone that believes this crap at the Capitol just spontaneously occurred is very naive.
The agitators mixed themselves in well with regular demonstrators that would never do anything illegal.
They were very successful at getting Trump blamed.

Just enough paid for agitators infiltrated the peaceful protestors and created havoc.

when we watched it live, ABC had a fixed remote camera on the EAST side of the Capitol Building where the protesters were going up the stairs. What is weird about that is the East side is farther away from the Ellipse and requires the protesters to go completely around the complex. There were maybe a few hundred people on the East side and they were going up the steps to the big bronze double doors from jump.
They flipped the view to the West Side and the crowd was far larger but less active. They were pretty much standing around in the open areas near the reflecting pool until a group suddenly rushed forward and went up the stairs and went to the building.
