Never mind that we are now testing at a per capita rate 50% higher than Germany (the role model to follow, until now).
Deaths continue to decline.
"But deaths are a lagging indicator!" they say.
Oh, well, then how about hospitalizations? They continue to decline, too.
COVID is like racism. Far more demand than supply.

Last week I had a follow up visit for a workman’s comp issue. When I arrived they tried to tell me they wouldn’t see me today because they were booked up for Covid testing. Apparently the lines started forming at 5am to get one of the 60 available slots. Best I could figure is that people weren’t there just because they wanted a test. Just from listening to people, they were being required to get a test from everything from work to being able to participate in any sort of group activity. So if you wanted to coach a little league team, chaperone a camping trip for a youth group, or anything else like that, you were being forced to get a test. Even being here at Emory medical for a consultation visit, they are asking anyone entering the building for their Covid history testing. So basically numbers are being driven by required testing.

Which two days after you get a negative test result back you can still get infected. Seems a waste of time, a test, unless you're showing signs of the symptoms of the virus huh?
