Tell me where I am wrong:

The vaccines are not universally bad. Just the mandating of vaccines. For people over 65, obese, or have immune issues, the vaccine is worth them getting. But no one should be forced to get vaccinated. For people without those conditions, it's probably not a big deal to get the jab, but they should have the option if they want.

Vaccines don't seem to stop transmission very well. There is some evidence they may be creating mutations.

Vaccines do pose a risk, and have crested averse reactions. These are rare, but thousands of people have died.

Long term side effects of the vaccines are still unknown.

The only masks that seem to work are N95 masks when worn properly and in certain environments. N95 masks would be appropriate in certain medical settings, being worn as recommended. Cloth and surgical masks being worn by regular people all day at work and the store does not help, and comes with further unintended consequences.

Natural immunity is better than the vaccine, and should not be ignored.

Zero Covid, is a useless platitude that is not possible. Covid is here to stay because of how it transmits and has reservoirs in animals

Covid was a man made virus created in Wuhan China

Dr. Fauci provided funding to that lab

No, we can't because one side is not interested in an honest conversation.

It’s not a vaccine.

There is no vaccine for the Wuhan flu.

99.5% of people who get covid survive.

I’m obese as frick and I survived it

Testing caused the mass chaos. Anybody who had a cough showed up and got tested with less than accurate test. False positives, flu identified as Covid. All served for increased numbers to create fear.

Not all deaths labeled as covid were caused by covid. Government is paying for Covid funerals. If a person has covid but died of a car wreck it was getting marker covid. Have a buddy who runs a funeral home. Out of the 35 “covid” deaths he said maybe 8 actually died of covid.

If people would treat it like the cold and stay home snd do an at home test if you need that confirmation, load up on vitamins and get out in the yard snd get some sunshine and walking this pandemic would be a thing of the past.

Quit getting tested! You have a bad cold.

I don't disagree with anything there.

This may get some push back, since our intelligence community failed to provide a conclusive answer. But we all know it did.

The blind push for being vaccinated is exhausting. Ignore reality, ignore decades of what we know about natural immunity, go get your jab even if you have WAY more natural antibodies than the "vaccine" can provide. Pfizer needs their check or their kids are going to go hungry. . .

808bass remind me if you can — what role healthcare are you? I can’t keep everyone straight.

Holy smokes. Your OP only getting a bunch of UVs and just one DV on this board is a ray of sunshine.

My only mild disagreement is that wild CV19 reservoirs are thankfully limited. So it could theoretically burn itself out over a few years.

Please add that as of May 1, 2021 the CDC no longer monitors breakthrough cases which do not result in hospitalization or death.

Beginning May 1, 2021, CDC transitioned from monitoring all reported COVID-19 vaccine breakthrough infections to investigating only those among patients who are hospitalized or die, thereby focusing on the cases of highest clinical and public health significance.

First of all read this:

Let's stop pretending about the COVID vaccines

A lot of great points in there that a lot of vaccine skeptics on this board will find interesting, many you echo in your post (e.g. the importance of natural immunity). Another example, he thinks young athletes need the vaccine least and are the most prone to negative side effects. Overall he thinks people should get the vaccine though.

Now to your specifics:

quote:

The vaccines are not universally bad. Just the mandating of vaccines.

The Biden mandate is a crazy unprecedented overreach of both OHSA and the federal government.

quote:

Vaccines don't seem to stop transmission very well.
They were very good at stopping transmission (like 90%). Now either because of waning effectiveness or delta they are not as effective (70%). That is still much better than not being immunized.

quote:

There is some evidence they may be creating mutations.
There is? There is no evidence they created delta which started in mostly unimmunized India.

quote:

Vaccines do pose a risk, and have created adverse reactions. These are rare, but thousands of people have died.
Thousands of deaths have been reported in VAERS that is not the same things as saying the vaccine caused the deaths.

quote:

Long term side effects of the vaccines are still unknown.
Correct. But to be fair, the long-term effects of COVID are still unknown.

quote:

The only masks that seem to work are N95 masks when worn properly and in certain environments. N95 masks would be appropriate in certain medical settings, being worn as recommended. Cloth and surgical masks being worn by regular people all day at work and the store does not help, and comes with further unintended consequences.
The only mask that might protect you is N95. The purpose of wearing those cloth masks is to limit the spread your exhalations in case you are contagious. That is, you wear masks to protect others. That said, the evidence is mixed on how effective that is. And the research is even more unsure about the effect of mask mandates.

quote:

Natural immunity is better than the vaccine, and should not be ignored.
Maybe, maybe not. But the downside is you have to get COVID. But 100% agree it should not be ignored and there need to be more research and better systems to demonstrate natural immunity.

Yep.

To answer the original question: NO.

We can not have an honest conversation about Covid.

Politics, power, and profits are the paramount concerns of covid issues.

We haven't had an honest conversation about Covid since ...well...never.

And that is why we are in the mess we are in.
