I don't disagree. But, politics and religion have always been at an intersection whether it is Christian v. Muslim or Jew v. Muslim or Christian v. Jew or Hindu v. Muslim. Hell inside of the faiths you have it....Sunni v Shia. Reformed Jew v. Orthodox Jew and Protestants v. Catholics.

Politicians here and in other countries co-opt religion for political purposes. Think also the whole Divine Right of Kings. Think Presidents and others running for office putting on questionable acts of public performative piety or religiosity . Think of depictions of political leaders as being religious.....for me its the painting of George Washington kneeling in the snow in a prayerful way.....if you knew anything about Washington, you would know something like that was propaganda. He was not a kneeler, even in church.

I give you credit for your laser like focus of trying to equate Jehovah's Witnesses to Christianity.

A non JW would obviously if trying to tear down Christianity put Mormons first as they are substantially more popular (also more sane, aka no blood transfusion bans).

But a Jehovah's Witness like yourself (even if faking atheism from time to time) needs to not accidentally lead people to Mormonism.

You going to finally admit your faith here?

They are no more or less sane than you and the rest.
