Can the parents or Seindle family sue civilly against the lawmakers of CA?

I read they have a wrongful death suit. They should bankrupt San Francisco for that

Im not real familiar with the facts, but I assume it would be a civil suit alleging gross negligence for the failure to deport the guy in accordance with federal law. State courts I doubt they would have a chance, but in federal court the might...oh wait it would be in the 9th Circuit so never mind.

Sad to say, but I am fully in support of wildfires, earthquakes, mudslides and any other mechanism to get rid of California.

Couldn’t they file in any federal court?

The family of Jamel Shaw sued city of LA and it was thrown out by judge. Shaws killers were found guilty

I am no lawyer, but it seems if a city is openly ignoring a federal law, that causes harm to a citizen, there would be legal consequences.
