Can someone give me evidence that trump sought to weaken nato last week?

Because it doesn’t logically follow that wanting member nations to contribute more to their military (which was trump’s main theme) means he wants to undermine it.
If he had come and and said they he wanted to leave NATO, that’s another story
But saying that wanting member nations to contribute more is akin to undermining it is like saying a president is undermining education when he wants states to devote more of their budgets to it.
Most liberal posters on here repeated that claim many times. I’m genuinely curious what the thought process is here

No. Asking for them to pay more, should bolster not hurt NATO defense. Only a brain dead clown with TDS could even attempt to make a differing point of view.

Come to Jesus meetings tend to strengthen the chastised if they are willing to man up and accept their mistakes. The truth hurts, but these people needed to hear it.

When you attack your allies publicly it weakens said organization.
Further, the pentagon went to our allies after Trump's tantrum and assured them...all was well...
