I think the 2020 Demprog platform would be considered a health code violation, a case of child endangerment, corruption and subversion in a sane world.

A lot of politically apathetic voters like myself didnt vote last election because we felt that HRC stole the ticket, and we didn't think Trump had a chance in hell of winning.
These same voters have a lot of guilt for indirectly helping a psychopath get into office and will come out in droves to pull the lever for the last man standing on the dem side, regardless of platform, to ensure it doesn't happen again.
This has already been foreshadowed in the midterms.
