I seriously doubt their conversations were recorded. Trump is bluffing to get the best "deal" possible and it looks like he may have got it.

Correct. A lot of people (all the dems and MSM) think they are smarter than he is but time and time again he makes them look like a fool. His "dumb" texts could be part of his way to make people think his is a buffoon, but in the end he is the one standing there... laughing and smirking at his detractors.
Many of the texts are ill conceived, but some of them are baiting people to run around saying "oh nooos oh nooos, this is what will sink Trump... I am sure of it" and then he just sits there and winks at them.

There are no tapes. After details of their one on one meeting was published , Trump knew Comey was the leaker. Trump baited Comey with a carefully worded tweet that Cowardly Comey couldn't be sure if it was true or not. Cowardly Comey then has to verify Trump isn't under investigation and in the process hanged himself as a leaker.

Why are people hung up on the tapes. And how would it affect Comey unless he was in fact lying. The only way the tapes would negatively affect Comey is if they were to prove him a liar. So what if trump bluffed a guy into not making up more bullshite?
