I’m thinking Rispone gets 50.3% to 51%. Louisiana is too full of idiots that eat up JBE’s bullshite. This race shouldn’t even be close.

Rispone may win but he has run a very mediocre and absolutely unremarkable campaign in the runoff.

Not bad enough to lose but not good enough to absolutely run away with it and JBE getting the arse kicking he deserves for the shitty four years as Governor he was lucky enough to get in the first place.

My business partner was on the phone with some pro-GOP PAC guys yesterday. They think this thing is going to be very close. Edwards’s people have done a good job motivating black voters that didn’t turn out in the primary. Could be less than 20k votes either way

By any measure, a well-funded GOP candidate with GEOTUS' support should win Louisiana by double digits.

The tragedy is that the LA GOP has fielded two weak candidates in back to back election cycles--and that's after however many years of Jindal who had his own issues.

We should be (and we are) a reliably red state. Unfortunately, Republicans can't get a decent, electable candidate through the jungle primary.

Most of the folks in my social circle are pulling the lever for Rispone, but there's no excitement at all. A few who are otherwise reliably conservative say Rispone sounds "sleazy" and are voting JBE. I would suspect a lot of these type folks will end up sitting this election out.

I was shocked at the 2 candidates that the Republicans fielded in this election. Abraham was by far the best of the 2 and the fact that Rispone beat him in the primary was very surprising. I’m going to cast my vote for him but I really wanted Abraham. JBE is strangling this state and I fear he’s going to win this.

These people should be publicly shamed. Democrats have not problem voting for the guy with a D next to his name. Only dumbass republicans have a problem with voting for someone who isn’t their preacher.

Shreveport has a very controversial bond issue on the ballot that will increase the A-A vote.

Don't think you are crazy at all. JBE had 46.6% of the vote first ballot and has been polling on average at 47%. Sure he will get some votes from the other Dem in the race maybe some of the Mayness voters ,but he is not going to swing that much of the Republican vote. I see it playing out something like Rispone 51.6% and JBE 48.4%.
