Stimulus Check: 0
Retirement Accounts: Down big time
House value: Probably down big time

Did you lose your job? Are you retiring or selling your house right now?

More likely that I will lose my job than keep it at the moment.

No and no.

re: Calculate your COVID-19 stimulus check amount
It's going to be the lowest period of my life when I lose my job and my girl has to carry our insane house note on her back while we wait a year for things to go back to normal. All for a death rate of well under 1% among the infected.

The worst part is that there may not even be very many "hustle" type jobs available (or a greatly reduced need for them) while things ramp back up.

My parents would be a perfect lifeline for me in such a pickle, but they obviously can't sell stocks in order to help me with the market down 30%, and they've been helping out one of my sisters financially for the last couple of years already. Really a perfect hellstorm from my worst ever nightmare.

I think anyone who works for the government should be morally obligated to give their check to local small business owners.

Maybe you should have bought a smaller house. Socialism is only for corporations.

2020 has nothing to do with this as far as I know. There is no repayment required. It is not taxable income in 2020 to those who get the payment. Use the calculator in the link. That’s what you get. You will not get any in 2020 if you make too much this year. Not sure where that notion came from. I could be wrong if something changed. But I have not seen where 2020 taxes factor into this at all to this point.

re: Calculate your COVID-19 stimulus check amount
so here's my question, and imi honestly looking for advise.

the wife and i had a child in 2019. if 2018 Tax returns are being used, any suggestions from the PT officers on how to ensure baby girl gets her $500?

**this kid has costs me about $40k in hospital bills already.

im sure its probably too late to file 2019 and hope they use that instead?

Not yet but the company I work for is held by a Bain Capital type outfit. I'm the last guy in and my territory is very green. My boss is handling the biggest accounts while I learn the industry and I would definitely be the first domino to fall. I was trying to make myself more valuable to him but haven't really succeeded in that department.

$1,129

$777 if I'd already filed for 2019. My webpage kept freezing on the final step when I was filing a few weeks ago

The difference will cover what I owe the government leeches in 2019 taxes
