Brooklyn needs to stop talking about Cornbread
Dear New York Times. Stay the frick out of the South. Seriously. If you hate us so much. Stop eating our food and stay the frick out of New Orleans. We don’t need your help. We don’t want your help. But you cannot have biscuits, bbq, gumbo, fried chicken, or red beans and rice. None of it. Plus your fricking women are ugly and they don’t wear makeup or blow dry their hair and just walk around like they gave up on themselves and their men.

The New York Times has decided that the head of the southern food alliance (himself a fricking leftist) needs to be cancelled. Behold their crystal clear logic:

quote:

In a struggle that is a microcosm of the national reckoning over systemic racism, a group of current and past staff members are renewing calls for Mr. Edge to step aside as director.

No racist images of the sort that led to the recent and speedy exit of Adam Rapoport as the editor in chief of Bon Appétit have surfaced. There are no homophobic texts or reports of sexual harassment. By many accounts, the work around the intersection of race and food that Mr. Edge, 57, has spent 20 years attending to has been crucial.

Yet. He needs to be fired for highlighting the cultural achievements of black and white southern chefs.

My God. I fricking HATE these people. I hate what they have done to this country. And I HATE how they make us hate each other.

I’ve long said, I have more in common with a black person from Los Angeles than I do with some butt ugly white woman from Michigan. Our music, our food and our literature in the Deep South is the result of a combination of black people and white people- and both kinds of people are southern people. Elvis is as Southern as Oprah and BOTH are American success stories. I’m proud of BOTH of them, even tho Oprah is annoying.

Seriously- New York. Stay the frick home. And stay the frick out of my kitchen. You don’t even try to understand the South, and you never, ever will.

The NYT SUCKS

Yankees are a plague. This cancel culture movement has its philosophical roots in the Puritan New England ethos. They could never just live and let live.

They don't understand the South because these lily white northerners segregate themselves much more up there than down south. There is MUCH more of a mix down south than up north and it's not even close. I bet some of those liberal whites up north go months without seeing a black person in real life.

I've said it many times before. These people are locusts that jump from fertile field to fertile field destroying everything in an almost genetically engrained behavioral pattern. Everything must be destroyed because it exists.

Some states worse than other.

A black man is like a unicorn in Vermont because it is something like 98% white. Yet Louisiana, Mississippi, and other states with large black populations are the racist ones.

Yankees are definitely NOT a plague. Leftists are a plague. Coastal elites are a plague. Rich urban enclaves with neighboring ghettoes are a plague. Trashy Lefty millennials with face tats and lip rings are a plague. Yankee colleges are a plague. But regular Yankees are just sturdy AF Americans with really annoying accents and bad haircuts. And this Louisiana- raised New York native will meet you at Sonic.

God, they really want to turn all of humanity into nothing more than some convoluted twisted caricature. The mindset is so terribly defeating of everything civilization should be.

The movement is about destroying the south and southern culture through shame.

re: Brooklyn needs to stop talking about Cornbread
I read the article. Thank you for sharing.

It's a microcosm for what is going on in America the last 30 years and a perfect example of the larger trend.

A white male pours his heart and soul into something, creating a beloved enterprise. Everyone enjoys it for years but now his involvement is "problematic". He's under attack by those who have directly benefitted from his hard work and now, for presumed and unclear ethical reasons, he must turn over his entity to persons of color and walk away.

Instead of starting their own company or project, the locusts swarm over his crop and destroy it.

I’m a Virginian, but seconded.

They need to move back home and live in the misery their culture erected.

They are not welcome among us.

Democrats are dangerous this far left cancel culture, which is not afraid now to show their arse everyday, removing statues, renaming streets, eradicating our founding fathers, hoping for economic recessions, etc etc. At this point if you don’t think they are coming for your guns , your religion , and state run media , all of which are under siege now , you really need to get your head out of your arse . Once they have that , then it’s off to the Gulag you will go as a political prisoner.
