Yes! We were there in 2018. My high schooler was studying 20th century American history. One of the last remaining survivors was there that day. Very fragile but still wearing his uniform. I know it's a moment my child will never forget.

The surf is gonna be rockin' on the North Shore directly, if not already. As someone else said already that place is sacred. The whole of Hawaii, IMO.

That's the way to do it. Couldn't live there more than a couple of years. Incredibly beautiful, but crumbling infrastructure, sky high prices, increasing homeless problems, and rampant liberalism.
