Like I said, no Murder 1 or 2. He also won't get convicted of Murder 3. Manslaughter at most.

Unlike the race baiters and opportunists I feel the same way about both of them; they're both murders and cops frequently get away with too much. But I'm not going to pretend to be personally impacted or that I'm going through some huge drama.
It's beyond fricked up that Shaver got off. Floyd and Shaver are two clear cut cases.. I won't be shocked when Chauvin walks.

Kelly Thomas was. A little longer than 9 minutes, actually. After the police officers informed him they were going to “frick him up.” They beat him to death. On video. You can listen to/watch it still today.
It took two months for the officers to be charged. They were all found not guilty.

That must be a different white guy killed by cops. Shaver is the guy who was shot in the hallway of a motel because someone saw a pellet rifle, trying to play Simon Says with some amped up douche cop with "You're fricked" engraved on the dust cover of his AR. That tidbit was inadmissible in court, BTW.

I agree. It leaves too much wiggle room for his defense as to what he intended to do, etc. Manslaughter has a much better chance of conviction, but ignorant people will riot because of that. Overcharging is not the answer and will lead to an acquittal.
With regards to the other officers, if Chauvin is only charged with manslaughter, it is going to be tough to charge them with anything.

That cop wanted to shoot Shaver and gave him so many weird commands that he was guaranteed an opportunity to say Shaver wasn’t complying. “Cross your legs. Now slide on the ground. Keep your hands behind your head. Cross your legs. I said slide.” Just super weird.
All over a pellet gun.
