To me after the last 4’weeks of Trump rallies that were organized by a recent ASU alum, that AZ is not nearly as swing as the Left portray it to be. Trump by 5.

They’re obviously worried about it. Biden thought he was there today when he was in Nevada.

There are many Flagstaff hippies, disillusioned, divorced Scottsdale housewives, but outside of that it’s all red.

Trump is now pouring money into AZ. He has a real chance there.

A lot of people are leaving California and going to AZ. Unfortunately, as is always the case, they are bringing their politics that led to their move with them.

McSally is going to lose. She was not good in the debate. Kelly will be a solid leftist senator. He loves China and will sell America out for them, he is massively anti 2A and will help bring in heavy gun control, which will be a huge push by the Democrats once they gain control. They are being quiet about it now and the media will not press them but they will come strong for guns.

Man I'm having a hard time with the idea that the swing voters in the state would ruminate on the utter failure of Democrats in Congress to achieve a damn thing of note in 4 years, and then say to themselves "Ya know what, let's send them another one."

They've shite the bed for 4 valuable years of everyones' lives. They punked out their constituents by abandoning any real efforts to legislate as they're elected to do. Instead they put all their resources and might towards removing Trump with their bizarre impeachment effort that they really did think would work. What to show for it all? Zilch. Literally zilch. And gifted the country with one of the most divisive periods in our history. Surely they won't be rewarded much at all by voters.

The problem is that you’re assuming they have the intellectual capacity to connect their vote to the garbage result in California. No thinking person would vote Democrat.

This country most definitely has a low intellectual capacity problem. To put it mildly. But for me, there are more voters with necessary level of intelligence and awareness to make a reasoned decision (i.e. Trump and Republicans) than most people give credit. That's just me though. And by "voters" in this specific scenario I suppose I mean "swing voters" who take the time to vote in nearly every election.

If it were just "low capacity", dj, I'd be confident of a massive Trump win. But there are a lot of Progressives who are smarter than average, but who for some reason, are rabid anti-Trump. I really think that being 'Progressive' is Genetic; and that is directly tied in a psychological way to an individual's idea of their self worth. And as well, a form of 'principled idealism'.

Any way you cut it a large group of (otherwise) rational and smart people are voting Biden. Go figure.

I smell what you're cooking and it ain't bad.

I should have explained it better. It's probably oversimplifying it, but I cut the entire population of voters into thirds or maybe fifths. 1/3 or 2/5 on the left....those who from day one were voting for Biden/Democrat no matter what. I think I'd put the referenced progressives there. 1/3 or 2/5 on right....voting Trump no matter what from day one. Then the remainder in the middle.....persuadable voters either way. Supposedly that's where the election's won and lost, and even more specifically the womenfolk in that section. I think (and hope) there are more thoughtful, aware, reasonable ones amongst them than we think. At least moreso than not. And of course we know who thoughtful, aware and reasonable voters vote for. Amirite? I hope so anyway.

This I agree with Davy. And at the end of the day, they are not suburban "housewives" as depicted by the pollsters. How many on this board know neighborhoods full of Beaver Cleaver moms??? Most are working moms. And what do they care about?

Their jobs, the fact they pay less taxes, scared that these riots will filter into their neighborhoods, the fact that Trump did away with the "dear colleague" nonsense in schools that allowed minority kids to run rampant in schools, and shooters to continue to attend schools.

They may not like Trumps bravado, his womanizing.....but they need him on that wall, they want him on that wall (10 cents to Jack Nicholson).

Kelly's married to Gabby Giffords. She's the former US Congresswoman who was injured in the horrible Tuscon mass shooting in January of 2011 that killed six others. That was the one where much of the media tried to paint the shooter as connected to right wing groups and refused to retract their statements when evidence showed otherwise.

There's still lots of anti--gun sentiment there because of that incident and they're going to play heavily off of it.

Ducey is such a dumbass for appointing this moron. She’s a terrible candidate, and she’s going to lose the seat. Shouldn’t matter as long as Tillis can keep his.
