Fernando Martinez, a partner of the Olé Restaurant Group, was one of dozens of business owners in the downtown Louisville district who recently received a letter from protesters laying out demands that aim to improve diversity in the area, which is known for its locally-owned shops and restaurants.

Martinez has publicly denounced the demands on Facebook, calling them "mafia tactics" used to intimidate business owners. And on Thursday, a small group of protesters confronted him outside his newest restaurant, La Bodeguita de Mima, on East Market Street.

So basically, BLM is demanding these businesses "donate" a cut of their profits to black causes or they'll damage their businesses. This is the dictionary definition of racketeering and these people need to be imprisoned and/or executed. Society is better without people like this.

Can we finally relegate them to terrorists?

This is why I am so glad I divested of all my business interests... No way in hell am I interested risking my money in attempting to create jobs for the worthless frickers that this country has raised...

Tell them his business profits come in 30.06.

If he wants to share in them, come in and ask for some.

Saw Tim pool do a video about this last night.

I actually wondered early on if BLM's organization was proactively reaching out to corporations and essentially blackmailing them in much the same way. The way nearly ALL of their press releases seemed to read virtually identical seemed really crazy to me. Sort of, "Get on board and make the statement and pay up, or we're gonna label you racist and burn down your organization on line...or in person."

Not sure I still think it went down that way, given how much this nonsense has already filtered out of the universities and into the corporate world, but seeing it at street level like this does make me wonder again.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a social media push of DMs from people saying “support us or be destroyed.”

I don’t think they would be dumb enough to hit big business up for a percentage of sales though.

the demands and related "NuLu social justice health and wellness ratings" were not meant to be a threat but were instead intended to start a conversation with owners about how their businesses can better reflect and support Black people.

If it starts one conversation...

Not a percentage, but they all seemed to give guarantees and huge donations.

What would be fun to do is gather up all the various social media declarations from some of America's biggest companies and see just how similar they all are to each other.

Today I learned a new definition of “diversity”. Apparently, it means roughly the equivalent of extortion.

Extorting business owners seems like an odd way to mourn George Floyd, doesn’t it?

We all agree Blacks are the 30 time run-away Gold Medal winners in the grievance Olympics. But Hispanic Privilege strong enough that they have to pay reparations as well? Or maybe Mr. Martinez is a white-Hispanic like that fella that shot young Trayvon....in that case he should pay up.

The correct way is to shoot up a bunch of Fentanyl and rob a pregnant woman at gunpoint

Got to get rid of those Soros plants. Otherwise, theses groups will stay emboldened.
