The two polls from October have Blackburn (R) up 5 and 8. Looks like Tennessee won't be fooled by another fake Conservative Democrat.

Run it up Herman. Leave no doubt.

I think that spread will open up a bit more as we get closer to the election. I've also noticed more ads by the Blackburn camp here in TN, hammering Bredesen.

Bredesen should be hammered with ads showing what the Dems did to Kav.

I expect to see this kind of shift in the polls until the Dems start condoning their own party members. The message will be clear for Republicans until election day

Bredesen said he would have voted YES for Kavanaugh in an attempt to fool conservatives so Democrats decided to not spend any money on him.
quote:

A major Democratic super PAC says it won’t spend resources to boost the Senate campaign of former Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen (D) amid his announcement that he supports Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation.

Priorities USA Action said it won’t back Democrats who vote or support Kavanaugh, whose nomination was in turmoil amid allegations of sexual assault. Priorities hadn’t spent any money to help Bredesen and will now forgo that possibility in the remaining weeks before the midterms.

“We haven't been spending there and any option to is now off the table,” Priorities spokesman Josh Schwerin told The Hill.

This whole situation has been a perfect storm for the Senate.

The Dems are going to lose a number of winnable seats because they screwed the pooch so badly on this.

Pulling out of Tennessee means they have no chance of winning the Senate, as they need +3 and that third seat had to be from TN or TX.

The Communists (they are NOT Democrats)do not realize what they have done. They have shown themselves to everyone in this Kavanaugh thing for what they truly are.

I think they are going to be shocked at what happens to them in the midterms.

They have deluded themselves into thinking that everyone agrees with them or is subhuman.

Bredeson is not a conservative nor a fake conservative, he's not hidden his views on single payer, etc. I have no doubt he would vote for gun control or single payer while in the Senate, but I also trust him when he says he would vote for Kav - I may be naive.

Big money types around here all have Blackburn signs, transplants and retirees lean Bredeson. I never know or care what Middle TN is up to.

Why do they (conservatives/Republicans) fall for the 'blue dog' / 'moderate' dem line ? Dems are liars and must be defeated.

the term "Wasted vote" is going to either cause a revolution or an implosion of the Democratic party

Every Republican needs to run ads asking who their opponent will vote for as Majority Leader. Then put Schumer and his cohorts Booker, Harris, Hirono and their histrionics on display. Ask if this is the type of behavior your state supports.

No it wasn’t. oh it was reported as such. But it never was.

Remember the polls in 16. They are having to correct them as it gets closer to Election Day. That way they can hold on to a semblance of being legitimate. But it’s the same song on a different verse. “Oh look! The democratic guy is up and winning!! No need to vote republicans!! It’s over! Hey democrats!! Come vote cause we got this!!”

Then the closer the day comes... it always moves toward the winner so people can’t point at them and say they were 10 points off. They have to be close to keep that gravy train money coming in to do practically nothing.

Most people were tired of Bredesen before he left office here, he isn’t coming back.
