So the whole class did the same activity, which kids have been doing forever, but because some black funts were treated equally, it’s “racist”

Soooo. They didn’t actually pick the cotton, they, and every other student in the class, did the job of the gin.

My understanding is this is all nonsense.
It seems that they were teaching about the industrial revolution and the impact that the cotton gin had.
It was nothing about picking cotton. It was nothing about slavery. It was about technology and the industrial revolution.
I am guessing it was meant to demonstrate what a big deal the cotton gin was versus trying to clean the cotton by hand.
Anyway, it seems crazy.

We had to do something similar to show how long it took for these individuals to do this. Then we learned about how the fastest cleaners could do it and it led to learning about the cotton gin and how it changed cotton forever.

I’ve been dreading Kamala Harris’ Presidency, but honestly like the Joker in the Dark Knight “I’ve had a change of heart.” Please make her President as soon as humanly possible so she can do everything I’ve accused the Left of being for well over a year to put the proper face on it. I welcome the era of Kamala Harris’ suffering for the glory era DeSantis will bring afterwards.
