Maher is a lefty lunatic but he's actually capable of having a civil conversation with the other side and be honest about where he stands (the anti-Anderson Cooper). Makes his show 100x better than any other liberal talking head show.

He's a bit disingenuous there. He mentions that they were "disappointed" there wasn't a blood bath...…..and he acts like that's not a bias but rather, that the media loves conflict because it sells.
But that's happy horse shite.
That same media doesn't go to liberal protests HOPING it turns in to a blood bath that makes the liberals look bad.
Their reason for hoping for bad shite was most certainly NOT a lack of bias
Hell, if it were a BLM rally, I'm fairly certain someone could be murdered and fall in Don Lemon's lap and the left would still try to figure out how it had nothing to do with BLM

Bill Maher is a fricking pedophile. He even joked about it in that clip. He thinks it's funny that he can just say it and nothing happens because his audience is so godamned brainwashed that even if he tells it to them straight out they won't believe it's actually true. Wow. Normally can’t stand to listen to either one of those two for more than 30 seconds, but that was one of the more intelligent, spot-on conversations I’ve heard from both of them. I started at 4:30 and watched about 5 minutes.

I've noticed he is a LOT more palatable when he's one-on-one with a conservative guest. Instead of going with the constant snark he tries to have an actual dialogue. When he gets back with his panel though he's preaching to his choir on most topics.

Just take that clip in of itself and it’s great. Nearly every point made by both of them was fairly reasonable.
