8 boxes of signatures have delivered to this conference room.

It was the duty of the recall team to verify these before submission. They have no one to blame but themselves.

What about the report where the logs were left unsecured and unsupervised for 2-3 days?

“Hey, uhh, we’re going to be audited on all these signatures, do you think we’ll need to keep a copy for verification?
Nah, it’ll be fine. Just hand them everything we have…”

Poorly managed. Surprised no one even suggested they make copies.

As someone who’s spent a substantial amount of time collecting signatures for political petitions, the folks in charge should’ve known better.
When we collect sigs we spend considerable effort verifying voter ID numbers, names, zip codes, precincts, and official notary documentation.
It only takes a handful of fraudulent signatures to destroy an entire effort.
This is a failure on the part of those who led the movement, and it’s unfortunate.

That was batch #1, which was approved at a 79% clip, which is reasonable.
Here is the conclusion I am arriving at.
The recall organizers were well intentioned and I think started off well. They were checking signatures, verifying things, etc. Tracking it well.
It is clear that as this grew, they lost the ability to do those things.
The fact that they did not have a copy of all signature submitted is the weird one... especially if the ROV is saying the second box was basically a duplicate of the first.
But I thought they didn't have copies?
So either, 1) the ROV is lying, or 2) The organizers really had copies and they throught the copies were actually additional originals.

Wait, so now we have decided that verifying signatures is important?
I can never keep up with these people.

Wow, this really makes you think twice about trusting the words of an adult human going by the name Noonie Man. I, for one, am blindsided. Flabbergasted even.
This has set back my trust of future Noonie Men.

Once again, where is all this effort when verifying election ballots?

I have a hard time believing any of this. 27,000 signatures passed, 40,000 failed??? You mean to tell me they collected almost 2x fake sigs from Daffy Duck and Cinderalla?
Or the same folks that found the most possible votes ever for Joe Biden have a "don't recall Latoya" team and fudged this one.
My money is on the second. She needs a clean transition to being Biden's Anti-Food-Packaging-Racism Czar or something like that.

they dont need to verify signatures if it gets them elected, but if their arse is on the line, better believe every signature will be looked at under microscope
