Biden's Balloon Statement - Who's In Charge?

Biden indicated that when he was briefed "on Wednesday" he ordered the balloon shot down by the Pentagon advised against it.
Obviously, that statement is intended to shift blame from himself to the Pentagon for why it wasn't shot down.
The bigger question: Is he saying he wasn't briefed on this until Wednesday? It entered US airspace DAYS before that (Alaska).
Rather than shift blame, his own statement is a further indictment of his failed administration.
We'll watch them backtrack/modify his statement over the next few days. I'm sure he just "mispoke". Idiot.

The only possible excuse for the Military to want this balloon to continue its mission was that they were gathering intelligence regarding intelligence being collected and transmitted.
It's far fetched, but the balloon in and of itself is a gold mine into Chinese sigint.

Or are they just feeling so bold that they would float a slow-moving target over the heartland of the US, just for grins? I would imagine we were jamming everything that balloon was sending out to China from the get go. If not where in the fucc did all the trillion go we spend every yr on military. We should have that ability!

If you think we were jamming anything you are delusional. Why would our govt leaders jam the signal. You realize if they jam the signal then China won't be able to gather any information from the Ballon, right?
