Maybe he meant the choo-choo train at Kiddie Land

quote:

"I commuted [on Amtrak] every single day for 36 years as vice president of the United States after my wife and daughter were killed, I went home to see my family, never stopped," Biden said.

Did he wear an onion on his belt, which was the style at the time?

I understand the man’s been through tough times, but between this and continuously throwing out Beau’s name, it has the appearance of scoring pity points.

If a family member has their life cut short, and years after I’m still telling the story or making reference to it frequently, then I’m either trying to gain something off the death of a loved one, or need professional help in letting go, or both.

Is this the story of his daily interaction with the AMTRAK worker who had retired 10 years earlier and died 2 years before he said it happened?
