I forgot one other question. And I seriously don't know the answer.

Did Newsome have anything to do with sending fire fighting resources and assets to Ukraine?

Good lord such incompetence.

Objectively speaking, the lady fire chief should know where the water supply comes from. If you’re relying on city services to maintain those hydrants, you’re screwed.

Safe to say the city manager will be toast as well.

It's very simple

Way more than 6 months ago State Farm told the state they were pulling out of the home insurance business because the state did not do any of the things the state promised to make the risk less

That tells you everythung you need to know - and the state still did nothing.

You don't think those reports are damning evidence

Roger, you know you were one of my favorite posters. You were a Tier 2 poster on the OT back in the day and I would say Tier 1 on PT. But your hate for DJT and the need to defend anyone he ctritiszes is unhealthy.

This has been my impression - my memory is so bad I have not wanted to make this statement myself, but I concur.

disappointed.

I literally made no defense of Gavin

I pointed out some math issues these firefighters were facing related to volume and flow rates.

I’m going to defend Biden here…. He feels they are being attacked and he doesn’t have the brain to understand why. No water???? That’s not why they can’t put out the fire….

Sure, sure sure.... but.... it is hard to know for certain since there wasn't ANY water.

Well, they don’t live there now. Now the 25 year old purple haired lesbians who have two cats will make sure they will never rebuild because of disallowing permits to rebuild.

Win-win.

My guess is that she is trying her best not to rattle those cages but at the same time protecting herself from scrutiny.

She knows. She isn't responsible for water supply, but she is responsible for those hydrants.
From my city

quote:

Fire Department will launch its annual fire hydrant testing program starting Monday, November 18. This program ensures compliance with the Mississippi State Rating Bureau’s requirements and plays a critical role in maintaining fire readiness and public safety.

Why is Hydrant Testing Important?
Hydrant testing evaluates the pressure and flow of every fire hydrant within the city limits. These inspections are essential for:

Ensuring hydrants are in proper working order.
Maintaining the city’s Class 3 fire rating.
Enhancing the department’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

A city the size of L.A should have multiple yearly testing & inspections. Had that been done properly, she could have dealt with it then. She's just as much at fault as those other clowns.

You would think someone is smart enough to know if you turned on "x" amount of hydrates during a firestorm they would know if they could handle the demand ahead of time. Wouldn't a hydraligist know this and could calculate?

I've been so confused.

It's like a different person posting under that name.

I used to agree with most everything Roger said and all of a sudden it's complete opposite. So weird

it's strange. i've asked him 5 or 6 questions that would determine if Newsome himself had a hand in destruction of the 2nd largest city in the US and Roger goes silent. he just can't admit that Trump was right --- again.
