We may be hitting the inflection point where the insanity of fringe liberals forces the Democratic Party too far to the left for most Americans, including many democrats. Many people will go along with the nonsense for a while, but seeing this kind of stuff as they pay $5-7 a gallon is going to start pushing people to the other side. Most people don’t care about climate change once it starts hitting them THIS hard in the wallet.

This is definitely the first president of my lifetime who has had such a negative impact on my day-to-day life. Not even Obama or Bush really got to that level.

The article states that the Cook Inlet lease sale was cancelled due to lack of interest. I was at one time pretty familiar with the basin and have a lot of contacts at the dominant player there…I’m going to have to run this down.
