Will voting laws that were changed to accommodate COVID, remain in place for the mid-terms??
The Biden admin appears headed toward extending the COVID public health emergency for another 3 months past the current Oct. 13 deadline.
That would allow special powers and programs to continue past the midterm election.

The Republican Senate Campaign Committee has thrown in the towel. They have cut back on ad campaigns in the critical races like PA, GA , etc. They know those races are lost causes and they will lose seats, not gain any. McConnell threw in the towel because he hates anyone Trump backed and wants to punish those candidates by ensuring their defeats. He would be the Minority Leader of a smaller minority than facing a fight for re-election as Majority leader. McConnell may be a genius on Senate rules, but he sucks as a political strategist.

I stopped giving to the RSCC years ago after I figured out McConnell picks who to support with the money donated.
I give directly to the candidate instead. I seriously doubt Herschel Walker will be seeing anything from the RSCC.

1996 Woody Jenkins ran against Mary Landrieu and lost.
the GOP would not give any support to Jenkins.
