It’s actually a total pet peeve of mine and is wholly infuriating: the way Bernie just simply LIES.

Head of household, which the single woman with kids qualifies for, is an advantageous tax status and is abused like hell by some groups.
For instance, you will have families living in the same household where each parent claims a kid and head of household to get a higher standard deduction than you would for married filing jointly or separately with 2+ kids.

The single mother minimum wage will be paying no taxes and will actually be getting free money for nothing more than having children, in addition to welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.
