Ben Shapiro begrudgingly admits that Trump won the day

I know most are not of fan of his, but I like to listen to his podcasts due to his insight and intelligence. However, when Ben gets it wrong he really gets it wrong. He was among the first conservatives to call out Trump after his Sunday tweetstorm against "The Squad." Mainly because he was enjoying the infighting between Team Pelosi and Team Ocasio-Cortez, thus failing to realize the big picture of what Trump was attempting to do.
He now admits that Trump succeeded in making "The Squad" and Democrats look even worse than they already did, yet still refuses to believe this was done purposefully. He still maintains (at least publicly) that Trump accidentally stumbled into a victory.
Most of us on this board, however, realized what Trump was doing as soon as he did it.

Ben cucked out on not getting invited to the Social Media Summit. He called it a disgrace and said none of those people deserved to be at the White House.

I don't hate Shapiro as many do on this forum, but what Ben Shapiro has trouble comprehending is if western Judeo-Christian civilization depended on a demographic of males like Ben Shapiro's, Islam would destroy said civilization in about 45 minutes.

Ben is a very smart guy. However, I think he is being naive thinking the old way to play politics is the correct way. He doesn’t want to admit it that Trump is a smart enough guy to do these things purposefully, he looks at Trump maybe not as an idiot overall, but as an idiot politically because he does things much differently than anyone else has in his (and my) lifetime.

I read it, too. A lot of people on this board used to hate Lindsey Graham. Now they love him. Don't throw Ben Shapiro away. He's got a lot more years and skills than Graham.

Shapiro lives in world where he thinks he can out intellect his opponents, which is true in a debate setting. Trump does not live in that world. Trump understands better than any politician I’ve ever witnessed that you don’t defeat fire bomb throwing radical leftist with debate. You defeat them by hitting them in the mouth and making them own their words.

I stated in a prior post how much I admire Ben - intelligent, well spoken - a conservative who can put many progressives in their place.
But you are absolutely correct. Ben doesn't realize - Intellect alone can't fight this battle. And intellect alone would be torn-up and stomped-down by the Left, the media and even the RINO's.

Absolutely correct. Intellect is effective when both sides want to engage in an intellectual debate. The left has zero desire to engage intellectually. They are consumed only with emotion and action. That action must be countered with action from conservatives. You can’t stand around pontificating and discussing the merits of your conservative philosophy while the other side is actively engaged in running over and through you. In plain English, a little less talking and a lot more action.
