The woman should be imprisoned for 25 years.

That won’t give this guy those years of his life back. But examples need to be made.

Actually, based on the story it seems like the piece of shite pigs and trigger-happy prosecutors pushed her to ID this poor guy.

Ok. It was kind of poorly written.

If she was actually assaulted by someone, I’ll retract that. Send some of them to prison.

Again, this kind of shite needs to stop.

This is a lawsuit that I support. I hope he gets every penny possible. There needs to be restitution to him.

As long as the police and prosecutors are allowed to lie with impunity and judges conditioned to side with “the man” we will have a broken system.

The greatest threat IMO now is the proliferation of stings, informants, entrapment etc. so the police can generate headlines and arrests instead of out trying to solve actual crimes with victims.

Muh human trafficking, or mentally ill Ali who was groomed and given a fake bomb as a “terror arrest” or drug busts involving marijuana. It’s all so fricked up.

This is the end result of #metoo and #believeallwomen. The next time you see a man charged with a sex crime, don't assume he's guilty, because there's a good chance he isn't. There are more wrongful arrests in these types of crimes than any other and cases like these make my blood boil. They should drop his accuser in Saudi Arabia with a bikini on as punishment. Some medieval torture is justified in this case.

Reasons like this is why I’m anti capital punishment. Would I like some demented POS to be killed? Yeah. Do I think a potentially corrupt govt. with an indictment from a corrupt prosecutor should be able to end someone’s life. No.

This hits hard. That poor guy missed out on his whole life.

Sounds like she was led by the Detective

quote:

"The complainant's current account of her 1984 assault differed significantly from her initial statements to investigators, the medical evidence, and her testimony at trial," according to the motion prosecutors filed agreeing to vacate Ruiz's conviction on Tuesday. "She said that the detective was pushing her to identify the guy and told her that this guy is hurting women."

Yeah - I’m sure she’s not trying to cover her arse at this point. Lock her up for twice what he got.
