I wonder how many of those likes are bots vs. real people… it’s surprising to me the support that blatantly idiotic people receive on social media.

FWIW, Gun laws are way to fricking complex. Different rules for Owning/Possessing. Gun rules in this country need to be simplified.

If I remember it correctly…He couldn’t OWN it as 17 and that’s why he kept it in a gun safe at his adult friends. Once he turned 18 he was going to buy it. However, he could have possession.

Amazing how terrified the Progs are to hear and read words that they don’t agree with.

My favorite band is The Beatles.

My old drummer once said he hated the Beatles.

I told him it didn't matter because every musician he loved, loved the Beatles.

Same with Twitter.

You don't have to like or be on Twitter, but almost EVERY News source/reporter you hear IS a disciple of Twitter.

It was all fun and games using tongue in cheek capitalist arguments ("build your own Twitter") until a capitalist reminded them there are other ways to acquire a company other than starting one.

Ironically if they don't go full insane threatening to deplatform all of the conservative social media attempts, I doubt Elon buys twitter.

Afraid of what? It's Twitter. You can use it or not. I know retards think it is the official communication method of the universe. But it's just a social platform filled with made up people and wanna be idiots.

Agreed

I think even if he loses some in the short term, social status/capital is so valuable today that it will be made up in one of his next companies when they need investment/support

When it comes to this Musk/Twatter deal, leftists don't whether to wind their butt or scratch their watch.

The current model is to label everything you don't like as "hate speech" and censor or "cancel" it.

God forbid they have to endure an opposing world view in a free speech platform.

Imagine being that fragile.

I’m assuming some compromises were made with some of these laws. You want an age limit on guns for safety reasons but do we arrest a child using a gun to defend his home? Especially when threat to life is there?

Besides liberals don’t actually care about gun laws when it comes to every incident. Take New Orleans. Underage teens with hand guns don’t do any serious time.

They were never sincere about it. They were just using capitalist ideas as a way to call conservatives hypocrites. They did enjoy the power it gave them, though.

They did the same thing with boycotting after Charlottesville. I'm curious if that ever swings back.

Musk's two major investors have already pulled out this morning. He's not going to buy it.

Those who control the ability to publish HATE competition.

They don’t like it when pesky speech they hate can be expressed.

Its insane to me how they just blatantly pretend that Zuck, among others did not admit to the censorship - some on behalf of the deep state.

Twitter is a mind control machine that is designed to create consensus where there may not be any. It's mostly bots so the majority opinion will be whatever they say it is. People aren't psychologically prepared for something like that. The desire to be part of the tribe is hard wired in us. This exploits that and a few other things we don't realize forms a lot of the basis of our thoughts and opinions. Combined with the media being coopted to whatever narrative they are being fed by the feds and there's just not a lot of people who are going to even realize they might should question what they are hearing or seeing. The reaction to people not buying it is predictable. Of course they call us seditious. We aren't in lock goose step saluting in unison. We are the enemy of the herd.
