I noticed during the NBC/Barr interview (I watched the entire interview) he was careful to distinguish between the Trump Campaign and the Trump Presidency.
I think the reason is the crimes committed during the Trump Campaign were the same crimes committed during the Trump Presidency but during the Trump Presidency these crimes have the additional constitutional statute of treason.
With that said I don't believe Barr will bring it to treason. That is way to serious of a charge. He will find an out for the coup plotters. He's going to give as much deference to the coup plotters as possible IMO.
