From two weeks to flatten the curve, to herd immunity, to nobody is allowed to be sick ever again, regardless of how much money, resources, and freedom it costs.

One of the strictest in the world with Covid

Friend of mine in Australia just posted "Stay home. The virus doesn't move, people move it. We stop moving, the virus stops moving, the virus dies. It's that simple."
She didn't write it, she just shared it, and it has many many likes and shares.
What bothers me is this lady is pretty bad-arse. She explores places in the world that frankly I would never visit. She's brave, strong, and resourceful. But when it comes to this virus, she is lock-step with the left.

How long should we not move ? Lemme guess… 2 weeks or so.. maybe 19 months?

The people of Australia are fricked.
This is what happens when you willingly give up your guns at the behest of the government. You cannot defend yourself from said government when they decide the 48th lockdown will really seriously work this time. There are millions of people who are literally prisoners to their own homes right now.

What's even crazier is the police hotline for reporting people who participated in anti-lockdown freedom protests was flooded with calls.
People are turning in their neighbors for trying to save them.

I've noticed this, too. People who are real risk takers, friends that have gone to iffy foreign countries, skied where I wouldn't walk, have completely crumpled in the face of a %99 per cent recovery rate.
Seems like riding your bike to work on the streets in in N.O. has to have a bigger risk factor day after day.

When people start moving about and interacting you should expect an increase in viruses, etc. So you can run and hide and stay in your house, have Doordarshan bring your food . Zoom or Teams your friends, but sooner or later you will interact with people and some of that interaction will result in disease transmission.

People’s response to the Covid response has been the best indicator of their true colors that I’ve seen in my lifetime. Are you really a libertarian, conservative, RINO, liberal or progressive?
If they’re typical healthy individuals, watch their responses and find out.

Like the poster above said, she's the type that travels to all these little shitty island nations, countries if Africa and Asia, and sleeps in huts and does shite you wouldn't dare do. If she goes to Europe, she's hiking and climbing shite. It's outrageous. Last visit to Sydney, we hiked some 15 miles of shoreline, it was amazing. That's just a weekend day for her.

A strong advocate for border control!
