Man, I say this ALL the time. A word is just a sound that is meaningless. They're simply symbols and can be used in a million ways. The meaning you as an individual attach to something is your choice, but it IS your choice.
Example: we all think of the word "love" and we all have similar thoughts about it, but they're all at the same time very different ideas.

At this point you just have to laugh. I may have to adopt some of those terms myself.
Although I am still partial to how Lewis Grizzard deiced to refer to himself.
In one of his stand-up bits, he was talking about how then-Atlanta mayor Andrew Young said that Walter Mondale's presidential campaign wasn't going so well was because it was run by a bunch of smart-arse white boys. Lew's revelation..."Finally I know what I am! I'm a smart-arse white boy!"

Part of the problem is that as a society we collectively let this one-way street happen here in the first place. Imagine if there was a white student union group. In particular, one that spewed racist crap like this group. We all know that it will be handled much more differently.
Society would be so much better if we invited by Martin Luther King Jr.’s ideas of character dictating how somebody was treated instead of race on all sides.

The "1619 Project" bullshite, statue removal, movie reboots, TV shows and plays (Alexander Hamilton) with black actors playing the role originally played by a white actor, changing the names of streets, schools, government buildings from a white historical figure to a black historical figure; etc. Certainly has the appearance of an effort to erase all the "palm colored people" from society...
