Attorney says Conyers announcement planned for Tuesday morning

An attorney representing U.S. Rep. John Conyers says an announcement is forthcoming on a Detroit radio talk show as the congressman deals with allegations of sexual harassment by former staff members.
Arnold Reed tweeted Monday afternoon that he has concluded his “talks with Congressman Conyers” and that the announcement will be made Tuesday morning.
Any guesses about the content of the announcement?

My guess attorney looking for camera time and too be defiant and say he was elected by voters and will continue to serve until the voters do not elect him.

Reasonable guess, although defiance didn't work so well for the POS attorney defending the illegal in SF. Different situation here, but defiance ain't likely to work well in THIS political environment. That's MY guess!

Yeah it's a radio show with his attorney.
If he was announcing retirement he would be getting the political courtesies I believe, at least a podium and seal.
Here he seems to be on his own and a radio show is covering.
