Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (D) is among the women under consideration to be former Vice President Biden's running mate, according to a new report.
Politico reported on Monday that Bottoms, along with Florida Rep. Val Demings (D), are under consideration for the Democratic ticket.

I don’t think doubling down on impeachment, where she was a House manager (prosecutor) is their best plan.

I think Bottoms would ultimately be something of a dull pick, but that might be a good thing. She's relatively inoffensive. She takes the typical Dem-mayor stances on ICE and the like, but doesn't spend too much time appealing to the crazies.
I don't think she's really got the chops for national politics right now, but she might not need them. Obviously Pence would have a huge substantive edge on foreign policy, national entitlements, tax policy, etc.

I don’t see her as a great pick but, given the criteria Biden has laid out for a VP, she is their least disastrous choice I see.
