At what point does DJT begin to force Congress to address spending?

Help me out here.
We all know that spending is out of control, at least that's my take on it.
Should he demand a budget proposal that falls in line with reducing the deficit? Or not sign it?
Will the new trade deals with China and (fingers crossed) USMCA deal work to reduce the deficit?
One of his campaign goals was to reign in the outstanding debt.
Seems like with a booming economy economy , now would be the time to begin some financial responsibility.

It will never happen. Congress will never cut back. Between little pet projects where congressmen buy votes with tax money and foreign aid where it all magically returns to their pockets, we'll never see them cut spending.

lets be honest, trump is fighting WW3 against the deep state here and just clearing out enough of them so they dont put him in jail for made up BS after he leaves office is more important then spending issues right now.
the deep state war needs his full attention and to argue over budget items is like #2789 on the list of priorities right now

He won't, and no one ever will.

Republicans will have WH, House and senate after next election.
Most of the GOP will have been destroyed also.
Conservatives will take over and help fix it.

anything good for the country will not get done due to the dems controlling the house and their constant hoax, coup, scam etc against this president.

That stuff wouldn't even amount to a rounding error in the federal budget.
If we got rid of 100% of non discretionary non defense spending we would still run a deficit.
Nobody will ever do anything to meaningfully impact spending because that would mean addressing the big entitlements Social Security and Medicare. Noone will do that.
