Try again...Wife and I went to Ashville and visited the Biltmore, hiked, and spent a lot of time around town. Beautiful place but full of liberal nuts. And, it was by far the "gayest" place I have ever been.
However, I did not get pictures of
- bear being shooed out of town by the police that was coming down our street when we rounded a corner out of our hotel.
- guy with Vietcong shirt (red with single yellow star)
- alien parade on earth day
- guy with "Eat the Rich" shirt

Asheville is a great town. I really don't understand being irritated by being in proximity with people with different viewpoints. People being rude, pushy, or handsy . . . yeah. That can upset me, but just people existing . . . c'mon man.

Can't think of a more liberal place in the SE that isn't a major metro.

A very liberal friend lives in ASSville.. He was a school teacher and has taught in some of the rough areas in New Orleans.. He also is a huge Bernie supporter.. I always give him the business about Bernie being bought out by the dems.. He has pics on facebook of his freak liberal friends.. They look like they are crying out for help..

Salt Lake City is probably the gayest place I've ever been.

Does this have to do with

that?

Yep Asheville has the three H’s:
Hobos
Homos
And
Hippies
Nice place though and beautiful weather.

They don’t “just exist” in that community. They are ruining it.

My wife and I went last fall. Beautiful area. It's funny, the city council there passed reparations. There are about 5 black people in all of Asheville, the majority is plaid wearing liberal white hipsters.

Spent the day there a couple of weeks ago and saw a dude take a shite on the street and a woman prancing around with just shorts on. (OT 3). No pics

Asheville is the most bizarre southern city I've ever been to. It's like a mini Portland. I still like it overall, even if it's filled with a bunch of white weirdos that don't know many black people or messicans.

I enjoy going to different places to visit. I appreciate the place for what it is but am always thankful I get to leave.

We have a lot of friends in Asheville through interests in a gardening hobby. Some of the nicest summer in Asheville and winter in California.
But the area definitely looks at life through different filters. We went to Flat Rock Playhouse to see two "Greater Tuna" plays that we had not seen before. We have seen the original GT with the original actors and writers as well as the second. We loved both. Flat Rock had no idea that the plays were written with a fondness for the characters and just played it as condescending satire. We sat through both plays (on different days) and just were angry that they didn't get the kindness of the writers for their characters. Their filters are not our filters.

We almost bought property there this year - beautiful home overlooking Grove Park Inn property. Picked Huntsville, Al instead. They do not just EXIST there. They ply their influence on everything political. Property taxes will give you a clue. It is becoming Portland East. Great to visit. But, I can not live there.

We're in this shitshow because those dumbass people "just exist". Be better off if they didn't exist.
And the stolen election.
