Metropolitan Nashville Police arrested Wesley Somers, 25, on felony charges of arson and vandalism to the Davidson County Courthouse that took place during the evening riots on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

I saw video evidence of all kinds of young people, regardless of color, committing the offenses. Wasn't just the white folk like this obvious right-winger. Some black folk will be arrested, too.

Being a larger department, they likely complete a threat matrix prior to serving a warrant which dictates the level of approach the officers use. A violent felony (arson) coupled with a prior felony arrest (mentioned by another poster) would shoot his score up really high on that matrix. No telling what other info they had (accomplices, other occupants in the house, weapons, etc).
Or maybe they just thought they’d look cool for the camera.
What does it matter, the turd’s in custody?
