Armed deputy at school - never went in after shooter.
OMFG!

quote:

A school campus cop heard the gunfire, rushed to the building but never went inside – instead waiting outside for another four agonizing minutes as Cruz continued the slaughter.

quote:

“I am devastated,” Israel said. “Sick to my stomach. He never went in.”

According to Israel, Peterson remained outside Building 12 for about four minutes. The shooting lasted about six minutes, he said. When the shooting began the deputy was inside the school handling a matter with a female student.

A review of surveillance video showed that the deputy was in position and armed but never entered the building. He remained stationed outside the building while the shooting went on.

I submit that this goes right to the police mantra that their #1 jobs is to return home to their families.

Um...........actually officer...........nope. That's not your number 1 job.

Yes, I realize that reality is scary. It's scary for Private Snuffy in the Marines or Army too.

It's scary for the fireman too.

Man up, or get the frick out

Probably took that position because he was a coward and didn't think anything would ever happen at a school.

You are correct, for a large number of officers. And that is a major problem.

I'm not one to attack all LEO, there are some very good ones out there and we do need and appreciate their services. But this guy "resigned". He probably should never have been a cop.

I'd like to just point out that if I can't trust the cops to do their job EVEN WHEN THEY ARE ON THE SCENE, the left will just have to forgive me if I say "frick you" when they want my guns.

BLUE LIVES MATTER!!!!!

Coward. Cops who shoot and kill unarmed civilians because they “fear for their life” and refuse to run to an active shooter killing kids because they “fear for their life” are the same. Disgusting cowards. Resign. Get another job. People are dying because of you and your cowardly incompetence.

It would be nice if the cops actually had any obligation to civilians. They don't. Their loyalty and obligations are to their department.

It's almost impossible to be a good cop in the current system. It's perverse and Corrupt to the core.

Sad to say, but at this point, fireman have FAR more dignity than cops.

Imagine if on 9-11, all the fireman said, "frick that shit'
