I’m asking, not making a point : are they really any more radical than regular colleges & universities?

They aren't even remotely as radical as Columbia and other Ivys.

The educational standards are not typically high. But the Ivy League and other “elite” universities are a bigger problem. They indoctrinate their students and foster division between race/class at least as much as the HBCUs. Probably more. And their graduates have more influence.

They’re a problem because they have infinite access to zero cost capital due to DEI and graduate 20% of students who attend. There are 100 of them. Need to be 3-4.

Howard

Ahhh yes.
Alma mater of the esteemed Kamabla Harris.

I had a Howard alum hired at work.
She couldn't make it through lab tech training.
Was totally useless.

If it was created or funded by the federal government, then yes it’s a problem. Change my mind.

There should be no such thing as HBCUs in this day and age... so, yes.

Anyone else find it hilarious that white people get “minority scholarships” to attend some HBCUs like Morehouse?

I know that's happening at SC State ... a lot of northeastern white girls based upon what we've seen on local reports.

I’m curious how many people on this board attended HBCUs?

They underperform and do not give a segment of our population the education that they direly need. They also suffer from lack of alumni support

same can be said for most universities and the overwhelming majority of public high schools. Our learning institutions seemed to have lost their way many years ago. Perhaps when university research became big business and certainly when leftist infiltrated the education system.

Just Show Up

The big problem is the nurses these schools are putting out. You can tell a big difference in a Grambling nurse and an LSU Health New Orleans nurse.

Their primary problem is that with very few exceptions they are not giving out real degrees. People are graduating from them dumber than your average 8th grader and even that might be being kind. It's basically a fraudulent piece of paper that allows them to get into government jobs that require a degree because the government will pretend it's real

Yea, they all claim Southern is the best nursing school in state. We all know it's not.

Im happy the hood rats are down the road in Prairie View and not trying to force their way into my school via political means. A lot of other SEC schools are probably happy that HBCUs exist in their states for the same reason.

Shocking that anyone of any race is willingly moving to Orangeburg SC from outside SC

They're a problem when it comes to balancing the books. The people in charge seem to make money disappear.
