Just saw this on twitter. I know i know.....
But there’s a bunch of video from different people, so maybe it’s legit. Just thought I’d pass it on. There looks to be 5 oil tanks on fire from what I’ve seen so far in the video. Explosions and gun fights and speeding cars....

I could see the smoke this morning and all activity is on lockdown right now.

A significant percentage of the worlds oil supply passes through Abqaiq prior to being loaded at Ras Tanura and Jubail, prepare thy anus for the price shock next week.

Good thing we aren't dependent on that supply anymore...

Thank you Mr. Trump

no Kidding , the price of oil might spike like crazy.
If Iran is behind this they will lose the support of importers of oil "China" , most of Europe. Then it will get real in Iran.

That is not how commodity markets work.

More likely AQAP than a state player.

Iran at it again. Spending all the cash their pal Obama sent them.

Obama shouldn't be buying a fifteen million dollar house, he should be occupying a 10 x 10 cell in federal prison.

Only President in history to provide direct aid to our enemies. The same Aid Iran is now using to destablize the region.

At some point Israel and Saudi are going to get fed up with this proxy shat and just light up Tehran.

Only this time we will sit back, reap some weapon sales and higher oil and gas pricing.

Oh, i have no doubt it will effect pricing, to some degree, what we don't have to worry about is shortages and gas lines like we had in the 70s and 80s

You’re still missing the point of world markets. If there is a shortage somewhere and prices get high enough “our” oil will get exported. There isn’t any way to prevent it. Yes we can try to increase production (if the production companies decide to) but unless we produce what is lost elsewhere and then some prices will go up. Add to that the relatively finite refining capacities and what goes on in the ME is still very important in avoiding gas lines.

Again, this was most likely AQAP and they are not exactly a proxy of Iran.

Think Syria with a even weirder list of bedfellows on both sides.

You definitely do not understand commodity markets.

I agree. It's just a matter of time before Iran gains nuclear capability (thanks to barack obama) and points their nuclear tipped ICBM's at us and Israel.

Shites about to get real in that region.

It does...a little. Things really go to shite in the ME, oil would used to shoot to $125+ per barrel. Now with all the US supply, you're probably topping out in the mid/high 80s.
