Apple Threatens to Kick Social Media Company ‘Parler’ Off App Store if They Don’t Ban “Offensive” (Conservative) Content....
John Matze, the founder of Parler, a pro-First Amendment platform seen as an alternative to Twitter, revealed that Apple contacted him over a week ago via telephone and told him that his site must ban “offensive” content or they will remove Parler from the Apple app store.
“Obviously by offensive they mean conservative content. Twitter is exempt from this clause as they generate more hatred than any platform in history,” Matze said in a Parler post.
Right now you have several socialists on this site jizz their pants over this

As an Apple phone owner and not a techie where do I get the app on my I-phone if not from Apple's app store?

I downloaded the Apple and Android apps tonight and evidently a lot more people are doing this based upon their sudden jump in membership.
Looks like a good service. I hope it grows.

Most services are now offering Progressive Web Apps. You simply go to their website in the browser on your phone and save the link to your Home screen. It will function pretty much like a native app. (Try Twitter and Starbucks)
This is the new way of distributing applications as to not have to deal with the app stores and cross platform development.

Yes unless you jailbreak the iPhone
Which most iPhone users don’t wish to do

Microsoft was sued for Antitrust violations about 20 years ago. Their browser Internet Explorer dominated the market with about a 90% share. They were accused making it difficult for other browsers to work with windows. They fought it and they lost.
What I see today with Google, Apple, Facebook and others is a similar pattern. Microsoft was the first big tech to get antitrust treatment. Now it's time to move on to the current crop and give them the same.

Because of actions like this I maintain that liberals are exactly like a slinky. They aren't really good for anything but they do bring some amusement when you push one down a flight of stairs

I forgot all about that but you’re right. And who still uses IE today? Not many.
I use Firefox on all of my devices ... but primarily Brave or Incognito.
