Apparently, Louisiana public school grades will be so fricking bad they are seeking waiver

Pretty soon with grades being pass fail, the only option for college recruiters to use is going to be race. Gotta make sure those quotas get filled.

These are the schools' "grades."

But, I suspect you are correct.

Meanwhile, other countries students are kicking our arse in STEM subjects. I guess they don't believe in social promotion, participation trophies, and "equity".

Man if my state tax dollars went to some shite where they don't even want to report grades, I would be at every meeting raising am7 kinds of hell.

Report the scores with an asterisk. Don't dodge it altogether.

If the scores were good, they would report them regardless of how they’re calculated.

I know we don’t want the public to know how much student learning was impacted by the political shutdowns of schools. But it should be part of the analysis.

I think the SPS scores are ridiculous. You would be surprised at what schools do to manipulate and cheat to get better scores.
