So they don't have to report them.

Pretty soon with grades being pass fail, the only option for college recruiters to use is going to be race. Gotta make sure those quotas get filled.

These are the schools' "grades."
But, I suspect you are correct.

Meanwhile, other countries students are kicking our arse in STEM subjects. I guess they don't believe in social promotion, participation trophies, and "equity".

And people wonder why Louisiana can't draw any new business/companies here....

Do you understand how the scores are calculated?

Man if my state tax dollars went to some shite where they don't even want to report grades, I would be at every meeting raising am7 kinds of hell.

I have a pretty good idea.
Report the scores with an asterisk. Don't dodge it altogether.

Do you know this is not the first time scores were not reported/published?
Posted on 10/12/21 at 8:28 pm to bigcatfish
If the scores were good, they would report them regardless of how they’re calculated.

I think I read that like 45 other states are doing this..

Cool.
I know we don’t want the public to know how much student learning was impacted by the political shutdowns of schools. But it should be part of the analysis.

Are you afraid to put your name on what you produced?

I think the SPS scores are ridiculous. You would be surprised at what schools do to manipulate and cheat to get better scores.
