Anyone surprised how many people are willing to let the government run their lives?

From the Karens on Facebook asking if the police should break up a birthday party to pastors being arrested and free travel being restricted (hur dur cant build a racist wall though).

I find all of this very concerning, I really thought the vast majority of Americans were a little more level headed than this.

Good thing Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, and the rest can't see what we've become. I'm sure they'd be ashamed.

PELOSI is the criminal, and that makes me upset about that.

At the end of the day (or so-called crisis), this is the most concerning thing to me.

I think the pastors refusing to cancel their services and all is pretty dumb but last I checked, being dumb isnt a criminal act.

Hope the attention whores take it to court and win.

Just shows an average person's overinflated opinion of their self worth.

Not really

The dems, similar to China play the long game.

They infiltrated the education system and dem legislators go to the extreme on attaching far left wish list to bills...knowing they won’t get everything...but will get some. It’s death by a thousand cuts over decades.

I have seen/heard many people defend the overbearing lockdown declarations by very local mayors, judges, etc as a good thing because “we elect people to tell us what to do.”

Look how many people vote dem.

Not surprised at all.

Just think they are ignorant and misguided as they know not what lays down the path they want to take.

I just want to hear how you would handle the issue. Would you allow travel from China? Would you shelter in place?

Not disagreeing with you, I'm just wondering how you would handle this. Would you let people go about life like they always have?

Not at all anymore. Katrina showed me how helpless we are as a society and the Dems want it that way.

I have been saying the same thing.

Can't believe how willingly people just hand over their rights and let govt run their life.

They have seen how easy it was to get people to give up, so why in the world they just not keep regulations in place.

They would have had a much more difficult time finding people to die if they had electricity, air conditioning, TV, World of Warcraft, etc.

Andrew Schulz, who’s a comedian, had a pretty good quote from his podcast basically saying how people want to feel secure more than they want freedom. Sad, but true.
