Anyone see this climate freak recently on Joe Rogan?

David Wallace Wells. A journalist for New York magazine.
I could only make it thru about 2 minutes before I had to turn it off. Talks about average Earth temp of 130 degrees in a few decades, suspending sulfur in the air and other absurd shite.
Joe asks how accurate An Inconvenient Truth was..totally ignores the question
Very much soy

He also said in the upcoming decades that the California fires would be 64 times worse than they are today, which means every year every tree and person in the state would burn alive.

Wow, that's gonna be bad. The average right now is 55. If that seems cool it's because very few people live at the poles.
So, when the earth's average hits 130 that means the non polar living areas will be about 200 degrees.
On the plus side it means my drives will carry about 300 yards off the tee.

Sounds great. How can I help accelerate this scenario to say 2 years?

He said some places will have averages of 130, not the entire earth. India, Middle East, southern US, Africa

That's still very wrong. The current record high on earth is 134 at Furnace Creek, CA. That's a high temperature, not an average. There could well be more 130+ readings, but to say it will average that anywhere is simply false.

What does that even mean? California fires do get worse assuming the rainy season trends later and later, but how does one even measure worse?

This dude then went on to give completely wrong information on Spanish Flu being released from climate change, not understanding that anthrax is a weird bacteria that naturally lives on the pelts of animals, that heat will activate gut flora to kill humans, that a conversion of bacteria killed an entire species (it didnt), claims we have millions of gut bacteria that are unidentified.
This Wells guy is either stupid or lying.

That rate seems unreasonable.

Heard a little of it. He is an idiot.

Maybe if you have all of the active volcanoes on earth erupt at once and pump enough into the atmosphere, still then you get a nuclear winter for years and years. Dude is nuts.
